What is proofreading?

Proofreading is the final step in the writing process before your content appears before your audience. It ensures your work is professional, readable, and presented accurately and clearly.

As your proofreader, I will check for and mark any errors regarding the following:

• spelling

• punctuation

• grammar

• double words

• usage

• formatting

• consistency

• style guide adherence

Please ensure any piece of work presented to me to be proofread has already been through the editing process.

Rates

Rates begin at $0.012 per word. Any project under 1,000 words will begin at a minimum of $10.

Since every project is unique, I am happy to provide custom quotes to prospective clients. I will base your quote on factors such as complexity, content type, genre, and the amount of work your piece requires.
